The Yellow Bird

On 13 June 1929, three French pilots, with a clandestine passenger on board, start in the beach of Old Orchard, in Maine (USA), the risky crossing of the Atlantic. After 30 hours flight, and almost without fuel, they are forced to land on the beach of Oyambre, a few kilometers from Comillas (Santander, Spain). Two days later they continue the trip to Paris, where they are welcomed as heroes, becoming the first European crew to cross the Atlantic, and the first to link America and Spain.
